Welcome to the Doubtabase

Your mind is full of doubts and ideas. Let's open an idea canal, let the doubt flow, and see where it goes. I mark my doubts with the symbol  ¿  since questions use ?

A question has an answer, although we have not yet found answers to all questions.  Multiple answers may exist. False answers abound. Answers can be forgotten.

In contrast, a personal doubt arises in each of our minds, and we need to individually clarify it by thinking it through. This is how we learn. We cannot unthink it. We retain what we learn, and nobody can take it from us.

The doubts that we organize in our Doubtabase record our learning. Doubts stay "open" and can be thought through many times.

Open a thinking canal

Put down the phone. Turn off the distractions. Take 3 deep breaths. Open a doubt that is in your mind and guide it into the flow of thoughts.

Let it flow

Ride the ripple in each thought, over rocks, logs, and boulders, around curves and through straight stretches. Follow its flow as you make connections and gather information.

Find the calm clarity

After considering and reconsidering, and gathering evidence along the way, reach the calm pool and let the ripple relax with the stillness and confidence that comes from an understanding, and do it again. The stillness comes in many forms.

Are you ready to learn to link ideas?

This is how you add a new understanding or perspective, each time you resolve a doubt.

The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you.

"I would rather have questions that can't be answered than answers that can't be questioned."

Richard Feynman

Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself.
